Happiness at this time of year is having the Baltimore Ravens and four points. And if anyone can find that kind of action before the NFL season ends next Groundhog Day, I'll change my mind about the Denver Broncos not making the Super Bowl.
As the NFL prepares to inflict itself upon us again, we notice that the keepers of the peace and chronic flag droppers - that is, the game officials - are demanding they be paid a living wage.
The refs will learn, as have the real laborers in the NFL - the players - that the gravy train halted at the same time the USFL, WFL and XFL were carted off by the handles, ...
