A MILLION children across Britain hoped to create a mini earthquake yesterday by taking a giant leap for scientific research.
The children simultaneously jumped up and down for a minute while scientists measured the impact on the Richter Scale.
The budding young scientists failed to create an earthquake but did bounce into the Guinness Book of Records by taking part in the world's biggest scientific experiment.
