In Coordination with other financial exchanges and U.S. regulatory authorities, Chicago Mercantile Exchange Inc. (CME) announced that after-hours electronic trading on the exchange's GLOBEX(R)2 system will be cancelled this evening, following suspension this morning of all trading in the exchange's contracts. CME officials said the exchange will remain in constant communications with other markets and regulatory authorities in order to determine when open outcry and electronic trading will resume in CME markets.
