BIG PIZZA CHAINS TRY FOR MORE OF THE PIE Call it pepperoni perestroika. This was the year each of the pizza industry superpowers - Pizza Hut, Domino's and Little Caesars - decided its competitors were doing a few things right after all. They began to tinker with once firm market niches: Each now offers meal deals and pan pizza, two have in-store seating and full service, two deliver to homes and offices, and one is branching out into institutional accounts. In short, pizza's Big Three are looking more alike than ever.
