VARCO INTERNATIONAL REPORTS EARNINGS
ORANGE, Calif., Oct. 31 /PRNewswire/ -- Varco International Inc. (NYSE: VRC) today reported results of operations for the third quarter and first nine months of 1989.
For the third quarter ended Sept. 30, net income was $408,000, $.02 per share, on net sales and other income of $21.8 million. This compares to net income of $430,000 on revenue of $15.3 million for the third quarter of 1988.
For the first nine months of 1989, net income was $1.3 million, $.05 per share, on revenue of $65.3 million. For the comparable period of 1988 net income was $2.0 million, $.10 per share, and revenue totaled $48.8 ...
