IT'S QUITE likely that many women would recoil in horror at the thought of eyeballing a snake.
But for Val Longman, from Hoylake, pythons, boas and lizards are far from being the stuff of nightmares - in fact she loves them to bits!
"They make lovely pets, " Val says. "And in my book, unless you've been cuddled by a boa constrictor you've never been cuddled at all!"
Val has no less than 75 different reptiles at her home, with one of the upstairs rooms and her office given over entirely to the various vivariums ...
