According to the Prague Pravo, dated 5th September 2001, the Czech economy experienced a major growth spurt in foreign investment over the second quarter of this year. The Czech National Bank released information regarding the influx of 54.4 billion korunas of foreign investment over April to June this year. The first quarter of this year noted Kc34.7 billion, which in total amount to a 6% rise over last year's figures. CNB predictions are expected to be below the actual amount, as data on investments are almost always understated.
