The National Drug Law Enforcement and Prevention Coordinating Center (NDLEPCC) told a Senate committee hearing yesterday that the trafficking of illegal drugs and drug use in the country are on the downtrend.
This view by NDLEPCC Executive Director Miguel G. Coronel was supported by Bernardo Lastimoso, Dangerous Drugs Board (DDB) executive director, who testified that the demand for illegal drugs is down based on official surveys.
