Exactly 100 years ago tonight - at 7.30pm on September 17 1901 - members of Moseley Ashfield Cricket Club assembled in a classroom they had hired at Kings Heath Infant and Junior School in Institute Road. At the end of another season, the cricketers had gathered, good pals that they were, to decide how they could continue to meet throughout the winter.
