Edward W. O'Connell, managing partner of Wiss & Co., Livingston, has passed away. O'Connell, age 57, had been preparing for the annual Wiss Partners' Retreat at which he was scheduled to pass the gavel to his successor, managing partner-elect Jeffrey Campo. O'Connell's client responsibilities included many of the firm's publicly owned companies. With extensive experience in initial public offerings and periodic SEC filings, O'Connell had been the partner-in-charge of Wiss & Co.'s SEC practice since 1977. Joseph D. Zarkowski, partner at Wiss & Co., has been appointed chairman of the firm's Accounting and Auditing Committee. Zarkowski will also lead the firm's SEC practice. ...
