Program Honors Sacrifices Made by Veterans to Protect Freedom
YORK, Pa., Sept. 18 /PRNewswire/ --
On behalf of Gov. Tom Ridge, Commonwealth Secretary Kim Pizzingrilli, Education Deputy Secretary George Shevlin, and Military and Veteran Affairs Deputy Adjutant General Cecil Hengeveld today encouraged high-school students across the Commonwealth to exercise the right that millions of Americans have fought to preserve -- the right to vote.
