CORRECTION: September 19, 2001 A story Monday incorrectly described Sikhism as having roots in Hinduism, Islam and Christianity. In fact, the religion's roots are in Hinduism, according to leaders of the Sikh Foundation of Syracuse. Sikhism was influenced by Islam, but Chrsitianity is not part of its tradition, the local Sikh leaders said.
