Rituals help make your class a community
Like a family, your class can create special rituals to recognize individual achievements and milestones. Here are some fun and unique ways to celebrate birthdays, welcome new students, and more!
When a student leaves the school...
* Throw a "send-off" party for the moving student. Serve a favorite snack. Have the class decorate a blank book for the student to collect autographs and addresses.
* Find a small treasure such as a coin, rabbit's foot, or stone. Pass the treasure around in a circle. Ask each student to share what they'll remember most about the student who is leaving. Let the student ...
