Allenwest Wallacetown has secured a [pound]200,000 contract for the supply and installation of its explosion protected electrical switchgear to a leading Russian mining consortium, Raspadskya Mintex. The Ayrshire firm, which has been supported by UK Steel Enterprise (formerly British Steel (Industry) Ltd), employs 93 in the manufacture of electrical switchgear for hazardous industries, primarily coal mining.
