Sep. 20--Harley-Davidson Inc. will transfer production of a third motorcycle line to Kansas City as part of an expansion of its Northland plant.
Jim McCaslin, president and chief operating officer of Milwaukee-based Harley, said production of the Dyna Glide line of motorcycles would move next year from the company's factory in York, Pa., to Kansas City.
In July, Harley announced plans to expand the Kansas City plant in anticipation of producing the V-Rod, a new bike unlike any other Harley vehicle.
