BOSCOBEL, WIS. (AP) -- A man was charged with first-degree intentional homicide Tuesday in the slaying of his girlfriend, who was found dead at the home they shared.
Bond was set at $500,000 for Douglas Stuckey, 32, by Grant County Circuit Judge George Curry.
The body of Donna R. Crogan, 46, was found about 11:15 p.m. Sunday in her Boscobel home, the Sheriff's Department said.
Coroner Ron Sturmer said she died from head injuries.
Sheriff's Sgt. James E. Kopp said a man was seen leaving the victim's home in her car, and he was taken into custody by Vernon County authorities near Westby.
