Sep. 19--Relying on its renown and local support, Garduno's de Mexico is planning to open a Las Cruces restaurant in the early summer of 2002 in the Mesilla Valley Mall complex, president John Johnstone announced from his Albuquerque office.
Garduno's will put up its newest restaurant at the north end of the mall complex that had been occupied by a film theater. Access to the restaurant will be from the mall parking lot.
The new restaurant will contain 9,500 square feet and have a customer seating capacity of 265, Johnson said.
