Mexico's Bancrecer will charge credit card clients a fixed interest rate of 25 percent per year, if they transfer their balances to the Deferred Payment Plan, are current on their payments and have good credit histories, said Vice President Raul Triay. "The program of deferred payments is part of the line of credit cards, and through a telephone call, the client can transfer their balance to this plan and pay in three, six or 12 months with a fixed rate," he said.
