ENERGY COMMISSION ANNOUNCES STATE POSTER CONTEST WINNERS

SACRAMENTO, Calif., Nov. 3 /PRNewswire/ -- The state Energy Commission today announced winners of the Fourth Annual California Energy Poster Contest at a ceremony in Sacramento. The contest was part of California's Energy Awareness Month activities in October.

More than 4,000 entries from throughout California were submitted to the Commission. The kindergarten through sixth grade students used the poster contest theme, "From the Past to the Future -- Energy Powers the Way," to illustrate how energy technology has evolved throughout time.
