IN MANY PARTS OF THE COUNTRY, outdoorsmen hunt waterfowl during hunting season and then switch to fishing when hunting season ends. As it is neither financially nor spatially practical for them to own two boats, most opt for a boat capable of serving both purposes: a waterfowling boat, more commonly known as a duck boat.
Indeed, waterfowling boats are a tradition in some parts of the country--and often a necessity.
