Agents Needn't Fear State Farm
ORLANDO, Fla.--Independent agents needn't shy away from competing against State Farm, according to a consultant and former producer for the giant captive agent firm.
If agency system producers understand how the company does business, they will be better able to develop sales and marketing ideas that work, according to Tom Herr, a member of the sales division of Dynamic Management Systems, Indianapolis, Ind., and an ex-State Farm agent of five years.
