Ice is nice, but flowers in ice are even better!
A technique used by photographer Darrell Gulin recently caught my attention and stimulated my own photographic imagination. Remember -- you don't get to "reinvent the wheel," but you can replicate how it was done and add your own variations! Since water seldom freezes with the same snap, crackle and pop designs each time, you will always have unique patterns.
Using cookie sheets or shallow pans, you can create a variety of frozen designs by placing whole flowers, petals, and leaves in the pans, covering them with water and freezing them. To obtain best results use no more than one-half to three-quarters of ...
