CVRD (Companhia Vale do Rio Doce) made a contract with Empresa Naviera Elcano S.A. the major shipping company of Spain for the sale of six ships. The business, is worth US$53mil. The sale will be made through Docenave (Navegacao Vale do Rio Doce) that started up in 1999 through the sale of Docefjord for US$37mil. The transaction was made through the split of assets of Wilsea Shipping Corporation (ex j.v. of Seamar Shipping Corporation) with the Norwegian W. Wilhelmsem. Docenave is ...
