PISCATAWAY, N.J. _ Kevin Jones conceded that he was getting a little frustrated.
The Cardinal O'Hara graduate, the nation's top prep recruit last year and now a backup tailback at Virginia Tech, ran for more yardage than anybody else at Rutgers Stadium Saturday.
He broke so many tackles on one run that Hokies head coach Frank Beamer was yelling into his headset, telling his top assistant that Jones did indeed remind him right there of the last Virginia Tech player to wear No. 7.
But after Virginia Tech had crushed Rutgers, 50-0, and Jones had run 18 times for 76 yards, the freshman said he wasn't quite where he expected to be.
