The Bovespa (Bolsa de Valores de Sao Paulo) is the cheapest stock market in Latin America. The Economatica company has done a study which shows the the price of shares in the market over the profits of companies (P/L). The

indicator shows over how many years the investor will get a return on the total capital invested in the share. The lower the

number, the cheaper were the shares at the time of purchase. The current number for the Bovespa is 7.53, as opposed to 8.76 for Argentina and 25.43 for the USA. The chief analyst of the HSBC Investment Bank says that there is no justification for such a low
