TONY BLAIR is today preparing for a renewed emergency recall of Parliament and a drastically curtailed Labour Party conference amid the growing crisis over terrorism.
Opposition leader Iain Duncan Smith was due to meet the Prime Minister in Downing Street this afternoon to discuss the handling of an emergency that has already produced a Tory pledge to suspend normal political argument and to stand shoulder to shoulder with the Government.
The Prime Minister's spokesman said an early recall of MPs, not due back at the Commons for another two weeks, was actively being considered. There was a growing belief that ...
