The Office of the Attorney General of the State of Vermont decided not to appeal the state's Supreme Court ruling affirming the unconstitutionality of a state-administered tax on lobbying. All lobbyists and lobbyist employers in Vermont were notified of the state's decision to give up any further appeal in an August 6 letter from Vermont Secretary of State Deborah L. Markowitz.
