CHARLESTON, W.Va., Sept. 25 /PRNewswire/ --
A $1 million flood relief program is available for families in West Virginia, as a result of a partnership among the Federal Home Loan Bank of Pittsburgh, the West Virginia Housing Development Fund (WVHDF) and four West Virginia banks. The program provides qualified flood victims with grants of up to $10,000 for home repair or up to $5,000 for down payment or closing cost assistance for the purchase of a new home. The program will help those affected by the floods to begin the process of rebuilding their lives and their homes.
