With this issue of Origination News, we complete our first ten years of publication and look forward to the next ten. Our sense of satisfaction is tempered by the devastation wrought by the recent terrorist attack on the World Trade Center towers.
As of this writing, our parent firm, Thomson Financial, has yet to account for all our colleagues that worked in their office in the WTC. Our happiness that everyone in our own particular unit of Thomson is safe and accounted for is tempered by the prospects of loss in our extended corporate family and in the many mortgage industry firms that were based in or near the towers.
