MANILA, PHILIPPINES -- Nearly half a million people in three cities in Uzbekistan will have a better water supply as a result of a US$36 million loan approved today by the Asian Development Bank.
ADB will also provide a US$600,000 technical assistance grant to train government staff and strengthen the capacity of the water agencies in the cities of Djizzak, Gulistan and Karshi.
