Barry Zito won his seventh consecutive start and Eric Byrnes, Mark Bellhorn and Ramon Hernandez hit solo home runs as Oakland beat Anaheim, 3-1, for its sixth straight victory.
The A's won their 14th straight at home, extending a club record.
Zito (15-8) hasn't lost since Aug. 15 at Toronto and continues to dominate at home. He's 8-0 over his last 12 starts in Oakland with an ERA of 2.04. He allowed one run on four hits in six innings with nine strikeouts and five walks.
