Lionbridge Technologies subsidiary VeriTest announced Monday that IBM's DB2 and Onyx Software's Enterprise Application Server have been certified for use with Win2K Server, Advanced Server and Datacenter.
Normally such an announcement is taken at face value and elicits at best a yawn.
This time though something sounded fishy. Why, for instance, did IBM wait all this time to certify DB2?
Well, it turns out IBM didn't wait all this time. DB2 was certified for Win2K in June of last year. Hmmm.
What's just been certified is a DB2 point upgrade. VeriTest didn't mention that.
