Article: Ridge Administration Announces Oct. 1 Opening Of Indiana Unemployment Compensation Service Center.

HARRISBURG, Pa., Sept. 28 /PRNewswire/ --

On behalf of Pennsylvania Gov. Tom Ridge, Labor and Industry Secretary Johnny J. Butler today announced the opening of the Indiana Unemployment Compensation (UC) Service Center, effective Oct 1.

The center, part of a statewide UC claim service, will serve customers by Internet and toll-free telephone. It will serve customers -- for new and continuing claims -- in or adjacent to Armstrong, Fayette, Indiana and Westmoreland counties.

All current customers -- claimants and employers -- have been notified by mail of the change to the new system.
