Agrilink Foods, Inc., Rochester, NY, plans to expand the use of its Birds' Eye brand in marketing fresh produce, noted The Packer (Sept. 3). Last year, the company inked deals with Wilcox Marketing Group, Rexburg, ID, to use the label for its fresh potatoes and onions. Wilcox has since has added asparagus to its Birds' Eye Fresh lineup. Santa Maria, CA-based Fresh Kist Produce LLC has started marketing broccoli, cauliflower, celery and iceberg and romaine lettuce under the Birds Eye brand. Still securing packaging supplies, Peter Rabbit Farms, Coachella, CA, intends to have baby and cello carrots available under the brand sometime after the Produce Marketing Association ...
