NRC SENDS SPECIAL INSPECTION TEAM TO ROBINSON NUCLEAR POWER PLANT
ATLANTA, Aug. 28 /PRNewswire/ -- A special Augmented Inspection Team (AIT) has been sent by the Nuclear Regulatory Commission to Carolina Power & Light Company's H.B. Robinson nuclear power plant, located near Hartsville, S.C.
The team, which arrived at the site for the special inspection on Aug. 28, will identify and document events at the plant associated with past circumstances where the Auxiliary Feedwater System flow rate was not as expected and evaluate the significance of those deficiencies on safety system performance.
