SHOCKING figures released within the last two weeks show that waiting lists for medical treatment in Northern Ireland are the worst in the UK.
People are waiting longer than ever for much-needed surgery.
I have no doubt that the increase in waiting lists is causing unnecessary suffering and misery and is, in many cases, leading to premature and unnecessary death.
People are dying needlessly in Northern Ireland in the 21st century. It is time to ask why and look at how to stop this occurring.
