REPORTS RESULTS
NEW YORK, Aug. 28 /PRNewswire/ -- Avery, Inc. (NASDAQ: AVRY) announced today that it has entered into a definitive agreement for the sale of Uniroyal Chemical Holding Company, a wholly owned subsidiary of the company and the indirect parent of Uniroyal Chemical Company, Inc., to UCC Investors Holding, Inc., a company formed by certain members of the senior management of Uniroyal Chemical. The transaction, which is expected to close Sept. 29, 1989, will be submitted to the company's stockholders for approval at the company's annual meeting on Sept. ...
