Lindsay Owen-Jones, Chairman and CEO of the Paris-Based L'Oreal Group, the world's leading beauty company, today announced the appointment of Jean-Paul Agon as President and CEO of L'Oreal USA, the Group's largest affiliate.

Mr. Agon, 44, succeeds Guy Peyrelongue, 64, who is retiring after more than 15 successful years at the helm.
