Satellite TV companies are trying to convince an appeals court that they should not have to abide by "must carry" rules that its cable TV brethren must adhere to. A lower court ruled against the satellite TV plaintiffs, concluding that they were required to comply with rules mandating that they carry all local TV channels in a particular market if they carry any channel.
