Q) My question concerns medical savings accounts. My wife and I have no children and we spend about $6,000 a year with HMOs. The lower cost of a medical savings account looks appealing. My wife is totally healthy, seeing a doctor perhaps once every two to three years. I go to the doctor at least four times a year. I'm also on Lipitor, which is quite pricey. How do medical savings accounts deal with pre-existing conditions?
