It's all very well having straggly, sea-soaked hair trailing down your back when you're on holiday, but come autumn I'm after one thing only - a glossy, swishy mane.
The problem is that, along with the majority of British women, I sit in the hairdresser's chair only to have them sift my locks through their fingertips to the words, "It's very fine, isn't it?"
Well, the good news is that despite the fine-hair verdict I receive, good hairdressers these days can create quite a lot out of very little.
