Caren Roberts-Frenzel mail-ordered her first vintage Hollywood photograph when she was 10. The purchase was no passing fancy. She spent her allowance, her high-school wages as a drugstore clerk in Hastings and all her college savings from a summer job as a nanny to buy old pictures of her girlhood movie idols.
"My mom used to say, `You're going to get tired of this! You're going to have all this stuff, and there's going to be nothing to do with it,' " said Roberts-Frenzel, a 37-year-old homemaker and mom.
