GENERAL MOTORS ENGINEERING STAFF RECOGNIZED BY POPULAR SCIENCE MAGAZINE

NEW YORK, Nov. 15 /PRNewswire/ -- The General Motors Advanced Engineering Staff was recognized today by Popular Science Magazine for development of its Variable-Fuel Vehicle (VFV), a car that runs on any combination of gasoline or methanol.

The VFV was highlighted in the magazine's "The Best of What's New" for 1989. Popular Science's December issue is a roundup of significant products and achievements in science and technology for the past year. The products recognized range from camcorders to automobiles.
