Oct. 4--As 100 National Guard troops began airport security training at Logan International Airport yesterday, a team of US Secret Service agents was conducting a security assessment prior to today's resumption of shuttle service to Reagan National Airport in Washington, D.C.
Massachusetts Port Authority spokesman Jose Juves said that a half-dozen Secret Service agents met with airport officials and similar teams have visited all airports with direct service to Reagan National.
