I am still haunted by a school report on oxygen. After spending long hours in the local library researching this reactive, life-giving gas, I appeared in front of a high school chemistry class only to be mocked for daring to use the word "fun" when relating my expertise on this exciting element.
Fortunately, today's students have a much easier time preparing their reports thanks to the Internet, which provides all-encompassing information on oxygen and its brethren on the periodic table.
