WASHINGTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 4, 2001
MeriStar Hotels & Resorts (NYSE: MMH), the nation's largest independent hotel management company, today announced that Sean C. Worker has joined MeriStar as vice president of sales.
Previously, he was chief operating officer of Maxxim Hotels & Resorts, a Dallas-based hotel management and development company.
In his new position, Worker will be responsible for all sales activities at MeriStar's 222 managed hotels, directing the six other vice presidents of sales as well as two national account directors. He will report to Hoyt Bacon, chief marketing officer.
