by Sonia Nichols, senior medical writer - Researchers say topotecan, a cancer drug, enhances the effectiveness of antibody to vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) in murine models of Wilms tumor.
This same combination of therapies might also be of use for humans with Wilms tumor, a type of kidney cancer that develops most often in children.
