THE RIGHT CONNECTION BETWEEN NEW YORK AND THE SOUTH
PHILADELPHIA, Nov. 16 /PRNewswire/ -- Consolidated Rail Corp. (NYSE: CRR) and Norfolk Southern Corp. (NYSE: NSC) have introduced a more efficient way to transport time-sensitive freight between the New York metropolitan area and the South -- the new "Atlanta Flyer" intermodal service, it was announced today.
The service, with southbound and northbound departures Tuesday through Saturday, handles customers' shipments between Conrail's Kearny Intermodal Terminal in Kearny, N.J., and Norfolk Southern's Inman Intermodal Terminal in Atlanta.
