The USGBC is aiming to grow LEED as a business, develop improved rating criteria and products, and develop and enhance the LEED program.
The last year has been one of breathtaking success for the US Green Building council's (USG BC) LED [TM] program, which now has five full-time professionals running the operation. We are getting at least one project a day registering and all indications are that this rate is going to increase rapidly in the near future.
The council established three principal goals for LEED in 2001:1) grow LEED as a business; 2) develop improved rating criteria and products and; 3) develop and enhance the LEED program.
