5 Taisho Pharmaceutical expects to have even more clout in the tonic drink market through the forthcoming merger with another pharmaceutical company and by well-paced introduction of new products, reports NI's Tokyo correspondent.
In August, Taisho launched Lipovitan 11, the fifth product in its hugely successful Lipovitan health drink range, while on September 17 it announced a merger, to take place next April, with fellow Japanese firm Tanabe Seiyaku.
